Terms of Service
- Use of the CompactJPG service is at your own risk.
- All image processing is performed locally in your browser using WebAssembly technology. Your files are never uploaded to any server. See the Privacy section below.
- You may use the CompactJPG service for any purpose, personal or commercial.
- We reserve the right to change or cease the CompactJPG service at any time without prior notice.
- We reserve the right to change the terms of this agreement at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
- The CompactJPG service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- We are not responsible for any loss of data or damage resulting from the use of this service.
Privacy Policy
- ファイルがデバイスを離れることはありません。 All image processing is performed locally in your browser using WebAssembly. No server-side processing is involved. This is a technical guarantee, not just a policy — the architecture of CompactJPG makes it impossible for us to access your files.
- We do not collect, store, or have access to any files you process using this service. Since all processing happens in your browser, your images exist only on your device and in your browser's memory during compression.
- All metadata (EXIF, GPS coordinates, camera information, timestamps) is automatically removed from compressed images. This means any personal information embedded in your photos is stripped during the compression process.
- We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how our service is used and improve it. We do not track individual users or their files.
- Google Ads: Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
- We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. This is moot for your image files, which we never have access to, but we want to be clear about all data practices.
- This site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Regarding CompactJPG:
- Right to access: You can request information about any data we hold about you. Since we do not collect or store personal data from the compression service itself, there is minimal data to access.
- Right to erasure: You can request that we delete any data we hold about you. Since we do not store your images or compression results, this primarily applies to any analytics data.

Children's Privacy
Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any files or personal data through the compression service itself, this concern is largely mitigated by our architecture.
